Audiffex guitar pedals - the legendary product, released under our previous label DSound 10 years ago as one of the first professional guitar software solutions. Because of a strong demand to release this set also for ProTools and as a standalone product, we have released the complete set of our stomp-box effects in one package.

We found our Thunder Drum on an obscure island somewhere in Indonesia, but they are available in many countries around the world. A Thunder Drum is made with a spring attached to the skin, so when it is shaken the spring moves and creates a continuous resonance through the body of the instrument. This results in a sound very much like thunder. The drums come in various shapes and sizes, and are sometimes known by other names such as Thunder Tube, Spring Drum, or, Thunder Maker.

This recording was taken during my 10 Day R&S Bootcamp here in our new Bellevue, WA classroom so if you ever wondered what one of my bootcamps were like, now you’ll know ;-) I did keep the jokes down since it was streamed live and being recorded.
