In this tutorial, we'll cover tips and techniques that will help you create realistic skin tones. We'll begin this process by mixing a variety of skin tones to paint the head of a light skinned Caucasian female. From there we'll take a layered approach of building up our skin tones by applying a base tone first followed by blocking in mid-tones, shadows and highlight tones. As we progress, we'll focus on specific areas of the head and face and explore how the skin's appearance varies throughout. Finally, we'll finish by adding some final details to our skin tones to tie everything together.

In this tutorial we will use ZBrush's hard surface modeling techniques to build a mechanical creature. The idea here is to become more familiar with hard surface creation in ZBrush. we will begin with some custom brush creation and then move on to creating our own custom meshes to be used in conjunction with ZBrush's Insert Mesh tools.
Next, using a rough concept sculpt as a guide, we will explore different mesh creation methods such as mask extraction and ZSpheres topology building to create the different parts of our robotic creature. we will take some BPR renders of the creature into Photoshop and After Effects, where we will put together a complete final image. By the end, we will have the understanding necessary to create any number of hard surface models and bring them to a fully-realized render.

In this series of ZBrush tutorials, we will go through the process of creating a narrative scene from scratch using ZBrush. ZBrush is a great tool for creating assets for film or games, and it's also a great way to set up and render entire scenes that can tell a story. In this course, we'll create a hunt scene taking place on a microscopic level. We'll build up the creatures and characters from zspheres through the sculpting and posing process. We'll use noise to add detail to our models and we'll create the terrain and set dressing from scratch.
